YLCE Project Presentation Format

General Guidelines

  • Your final submission should contain a maximum of 10-15 slides in PPT format (10 for Focused Projects, 15 for Multi-Faceted Projects).
  • Follow the structured slide format outlined below. You may get creative with your slides but please make sure to keep the order of topics. 
  • Include relevant photos and videos to visually support your project. Please also submit photos in a separate folder. 
  • Provide a link to a 1-2 minute video summarizing your project.
  • Approved presentations will be uploaded to the YLCE website.

Final Submission Slide Structure

Slide 1: Title Slide

  • Title: Project Title  
  • Image: High-quality project-related image 

Slide 2: Team Introduction

  • Title: Meet the Team
  • Image: Team photo or individual portraits

Slide 3: Project Summary

  • Title: Project Overview
  • Text: Brief summary (2-3 sentences)
  • Key Points:
    • Mission and objectives
    • Target audience
    • Core activities
  • Image: Relevant project-related image

Slide 4: Project Implementation

  • Title: How We Made It Happen
  • Bullet Points:
    • Steps taken to implement the project
    • Key milestones and activities
  • Image: Action shots of the project in progress

Slide 5: Challenges & Solutions

  • Title: Overcoming Obstacles
  • Bullet Points:
    • Major challenges faced
    • Solutions and strategies used to overcome them
  • Image: Before-and-after visuals (if applicable)

Slide 6: Impact & Achievements

  • Title: What We Accomplished
  • Bullet Points:
    • Measurable outcomes (e.g., number of people engaged, funds raised, materials recycled)
    • Success stories or testimonials
  • Image: Project results (e.g., audience engagement, event participation)

Slide 7: Diversity & Inclusion

Supporting Materials to Include

  • Measurable Impact Data: Share key data or evidence demonstrating your project’s impact, such as:
    • Number of people reached or engaged

    • Testimonials from participants or beneficiaries
    • Surveys or feedback results
  • Project Video: Upload or provide a link to a 1-2 minute video summarizing your project.
  • High-Quality Photos: Upload high-quality images showcasing your project.
  • Other Supporting Documents (Optional): Upload any additional materials that support your submission.

Consent for Promotional Use

By submitting your materials, you acknowledge that the Young Leaders in Civic Engagement (YLCE) program may use the photos and videos for promotional purposes on the Alliance for Shared Values website. Personal information (e.g., contact details) will never be shared.
