January 24, 2020 – I learned with grief about the news of a severe earthquake in Elazig and Malatya.

I pray for God’s mercy for those who lost their lives, I extend my deepest condolences to theirloved ones and to all citizens and wish them patience and perseverance. I also pray for the quick recovery of the wounded and those who were harmed.

I urge everyone to help fellow citizens at the earthquake region during this difficult time.
